Pass Plus Scheme
"I also took the plus pass course with Dave which I would highly
recommend as you learn about lots of different driving and have great fun
doing so". Mark
"I passed my test first time, after which I decided to do the Pass Plus.
I would recommend any new drivers to do this, its a total confidence booster.
I hadn't realised how different 'motorway driving' was so I was pleased David
guided me through it". Nicky

Once you have passed your driving test you can learn further driving skills
with the Pass Plus Scheme.
What is the Pass Plus Scheme?
It is a Government initiative aimed at teaching new drivers further skills to
enabling them to deal with new situations that have not been covered in
driving lessons and more complex driving situations.
Why do I need to take the Pass Plus Scheme?
Surveys have shown that new drivers who undertake the Pass Plus Scheme after
passing their driving test are less likely to be involved in an accident
within the first few years of driving. Obtaining a Pass Plus Certificate
could lower insurance premiums by hundreds of pounds.
What does it involve?
There are many areas of driving that have not been covered within your
driving lessons. One of these is motorway driving. Pass Plus is a full day
course where you will drive up to 340 miles over 8 hours with regular breaks.
The planned route takes you to Leeds & Manchester via the M1 & M62
then on the M6 west of the country up to the Lake District.
